'In Hong Kong, people trust Australian food and beverage to be premium quality, nutritious, safe, clean and sustainably produced.   Australia has played a critical role in ensuring the stable supply of fresh food here in Hong Kong. Through our International Freight Assistance Mechanism launched in April 2020 we have supported Australian agriculture and fisheries exporters by coordinating freight flights to export high-quality produce into key overseas markets, like Hong Kong. Hong Kong is in fact the number one destination by volume of IFAM supported exports.  To continue to support Australian exports to Hong Kong, Austrade has developed a new initiative, the Festival of Australia, to help Hong Kong diners sample the best premium food and beverage.
