'Rava idli recipe - How to make soft, spongy, instant rava idli at home with ENO fruit salt and curd.  Sooji idli/Suji idli recipe, Semolina idli is an Instant indian breakfast recipe.  Check this link for full recipe with step by step pictures http://www.chitrasfoodbook.com/2013/03/rava-idli-recipe-breakfast-recipe.html  Ingredients for Rava Idli Recipe (1 cup - 250ml)  Rava/Semolina - 1 cup Fresh curd - 1 cup Water - 1/2 cup ( Adjust for consistency) Cooking oil + ghee - 1 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Urad dal - 1 tsp Chana dal - 2 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Cashew nuts - Few Green chillies - 1-2 nos (Finely chopped) Ginger - 1 inch ( -do-) Curry leaves - few Coriander leaves - few Lemon juice - Few drops Plain ENO - 1 tsp  Or baking soda - 1/2 tsp or cooking soda - 2 big pinches Salt - As needed  NOTE : Use Upma sooji/ Bombay rava not chiroti rava/ fine rava. Do not attempt this recipe without using curd or ENO/soda. It helps for softness. You can reduce the curd to 1/2 cup but texture may vary.
