'Beeswax food wraps are beginning to become a desirable household item for those looking to reduce their environmental impact. These can be quite costly if you purchase them pre-made, but they\'re incredible simple and cheap to make them yourself. You will need: -100% cotton fabric (we found ours at a fabric store on sale for $2, but you can also use old clothing or fabric you already have) -scissors -beeswax pestiles -baking sheet -parchment paper -clean paintbrush Directions: 1. preheat oven to lowest setting (about 250f) 2. cut fabric to desired size 3. place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper 4. sprinkle a generous amount of beeswax on fabric 5. place in oven for 5 minutes 6. remove from oven and quickly spread out melted beeswax with paintbrush 7. remove fabric from baking sheet and let air dry for 20-30 seconds 8. repeat with the rest of your fabric! Use these to wrap sandwiches, leftover food, tops of containers, cheese, etc. To wash, use soap and cold water then let air dry. These will last you years and will help reduce your environmental impact on this planet.'
