I\'ll talk about 5 ways how to use apple cider vinegar for dogs itchy skin and later, how you can greatly reduce the underlying problem for long term relief.  5 Ways How to Use Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs Itching Skin. No.1 If your dog has yeasty, itchy skin with lots of scratching to the sides, behind the ears, under the armpits, biting at the rear end and just can\'t seem to settle, mix up a cereal sized bowl of 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water and using a cotton cloth soaked in the solution, swab down your dog from head to tail.  Be careful not to get the solution into any open wound areas as it\'ll sting and your dog will become reluctant to go on.  An alternative method for apple cider vinegar for dog skin issues is to pour the mixed solution into a spray bottle and sprits your dog down. If you do this in the yard and allow your dog to shake out the excess, you\'ll keep mess to a minimum.  No.2 As a general preventative, add a half teaspoon to your dogs water bowl to help alkalize your dogs body internally and prevent the spread of yeast in the system. No.5 If your dog engages in extended periods of feet licking, they can be itchy or infected, so soak your dogs feet in a bath of 50/50 water and apple cider vinegar solution. Try and keep the feet in the solution for several minutes and do this daily. If your dog is reluctant to stay put or won\'t have their feet in a solution, you can use a sponge soaked in the solution and swab down the feet out in the yard for several minutes.
