'Dosa recipe - Easy dosa batter recipe for making crispy dosa & thick uthappam, set dosa.This dosa batter can be made very easily using rice flour .It needs very less soaking time and this batter can be ground using mixie.Its apt for working women and bachelors. Please check this link for the recipe with stey by step pictures. http://www.chitrasfoodbook.com/2015/08/dosa-recipe-easy-dosa-batter-recipe.html Ingredients: ( 1 cup = 200ml or 250ml) Rice flour - 1.5 cups White round urad dal - 1/2 cup Salt & water - as needed Wash and soak urad dal for 30 minutes.Soak rice flour for 30 minutes adding water just to cover it.Grind the urad dal to a smooth,thick paste adding enough water,say 1/2 to 1 cup.Now add the soaked rice flour to urad dal batter.Add the required salt.Grind again to a smooth paste.Make sure the batter is not too thick or too thin.Transfer it to a wide bowl, Mix the batter with your hands.Let it ferment for 15-20 hours based on the weather.The next morning,batter would have raised well.Mix the batter well and make dosa on a hot pan.Make it thick or crispy as per your wish and enjoy with chutney,sambar !!'
