'Welcome to the World of Street Food! Today we are going to feature the Chicken Proven or Proben. This crunchy and highly enjoyable dish is pretty popular in Mindanao but it also a lot of fans here in the Queen City of the South, Cebu. Chicken Proven is made of the Chicken\'s Proventriculus. It is a part of a fowl connected to the gizzard. This organ is deep fried with a batter then served fresh and hot. We normally eat it with a sweet and sour sauce or vinegar. A serving cost around 20 pesos (50 cents). We usually eat it with puso or hanging rice. So, if you are in Cebu and you want to be adventurous try out our street food like the Proben or Chicken Proven! Where to find them: On daytime, you can find chicken proven stalls at the back of Robinsons Cybergate and at the back Cebu Doctor\'s Hospital.
