We eat some of the most delicious SINGAPORE STREET FOOD in this video and travel all around the island to do so. Make sure you’ve hit that subscribe button on our channel for heaps more food videos! Where we ate: Butter kopi, kaya toast and soft boiled eggs. A cup of coffee with a slice of butter plus kaya (coconut jam) toast and soft boiled eggs is the breakfast of champions! This is a classic Singaporean breakfast. We ate at: Heap Seng Leong, 10 N Bridge Rd, #01-5109, Singapore 190010. Open daily 4:00am to 8:00pm Katong laksa is unique to Singapore. Essentially the rice noodles are short which makes the dish able to be eaten just with a spoon. Add to it a creamy coconut broth, blood cockles, fish cake and laksa leaf and you have a fine bowl of noodles! The one we ate here was quite a small portion for the price paid although it was very tasty. We ate at: Sungei Road Laksa, Blk 27 Jalan Berseh #01-100, Singapore 200027. Open 9:30am to 5:00pm. Closed Wednesday. Char kway teow is a classic! This fried noodles dish is tossed with sprouts, lap cheong (Chinese pork sausage), pork crackle, chives, egg and sambal to create a delicious plate. We ate at: Hillstreet Char Koay Teow, 16 Bedok South Rd, #01-41, Singapore 460016. Open 11:30 to 4:45pm. Closed Monday. Hainanese Chicken Rice is arguably Singapore’s national dish. Poached chicken, oily rice and a few cucumbers served with a minced chilli and garlic sauce. Simple perfection! We ate at: Yet Con, 25 Purvis Street, Singapore 188602. Open daily 12:00pm to 7:00pm. Roti Prata are a great breakfast! The ones we ate in this video were crispy, flaky and served with dalcha or a fish curry. Also known as roti canal, roti prata is a wheat flatbread made with flour, water and ghee. We ate at: Mr and Mrs Moghan’s Super Crispy Roti Prata, 7 Crane Road, Singapore 429356. Open daily 6:30am to 1:00pm If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up, share it and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Thanks so much for your support. Want more food and travel videos?
