'Food Preservation with Pressure Canning'

'This program will give you an overview and practical experience in using the pressure canning method of food preservation, by teaching you research-based methods for preserving harvest from personal gardens or local farmers\' markets so you can enjoy safe food year-round.  This class will be taught by Katie Alexander, the County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences for Daviess County.  She transferred to Daviess County from Webster County this past March.  She has been an agent for 15 years and has her Bachelor\'s Degree in Dietetics and her Masters in Public Health, both from Western Kentucky University.'
