'So the cyanobacteria take sunlight and make energy so the planet should be habitable right? Wrong! It turns out to explain the habitability of Earth we need to add in more than just one species. The interconnectivity of species through food chains and webs forms a key part of understanding our planet\'s habitability. Moreover, there appears to be a relationship between food webs and stability of ecosystems. As complexity in food webs increase so does resilience to change ecosystems. This is important because, as we are about to find out, change on our planet is the only constant.'
