'Market opening in Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento seeks to serve food-insecure residents'

'A new option for residents to get groceries in Oak Park is opening this week. Rancho San Miguel, a market opening at 4401 Broadway near Stockton Boulevard is set to open on March 2 after some delays. Chris Podesto, senior vice president and general manager of Rancho San Miguel, said where they\'re opening up is considered a food desert, which is an area where there is access to healthy foods. Podesto said the market will bring a wide range of items, including meat and seafood counters, a bakery and a salsa bar.
