
'Make sure to Shake off the Spirit after a Funeral - Pagpag. After attending a funeral, make sure to stop by a place and shake the dust off of your clothes before moving on. If you don’t do this, the spirit of the deceased will follow you home. This is a popular superstition in the Philippines/Filipino superstition especially by Filipino elders called “Pagpag” which is the act of shaking the dirt off of something. After a funeral, the spirit of the deceased/ or theiris said to follow an attendee as a ghost, and in order to stop it, you must shake them off or pagpag them - somewhere else. Of course, that is only a Filipino superstition… or is it?
