'Gout foods to avoid.  Gout patients have to avoid foods that are rich in purines, because purines convert into uric acid leads to Gout arthritis.  We have to avoid foods that are high in purines.  FOODS TO AVOID TOTALLY. • Organ meats such as liver, kidney, brain etc are very favourite and rich in nutrition, but this organ meats contains lots of purines, which leads to Gout arthritis. Even avoiding non vegetarian foods such as beef, pork etc is better. • Avoid Fish, Fish also contains lots of purine. Some seafoods such as herring, mussels, codfish, trout, sardines, mackerel, scallops. Avoid seafoods if you have Gout arthritis. • Avoid Alcohol, Alcohol have found to increase uric acid level in body. High amount of uric acid is bad for gout patients.             These are foods that with purine contain, eating this foods can leads to gout arthritis • Cauliflower • Mushroom • Spinach • Brown bread • Egg • Legumes • High fiber cereals • White flour • Sugar • White bread • Fruit juice  • Refined grains     Always drink lots of water, always stay hydrated because drinking high amount of water flush out uric acid from the body.
