But when things get tough and they feel like they need a boost of nutrition, they go after infant Chimps to fulfill the need! Unlike some animals that eat their own infants, Chimpanzees go after the infants of others within their own group! So if one of them is hungry enough, all infants in the group are at risk of being eaten! That’s not all though, there’s one unique instance that was recorded in Senegal during 2005-2007. Chimpanzees overthrew their group leader, and he was exiled… two years later, when he was weak and frail, he came back to join the group… when the other chimpanzees attacked him, killed him, and then ate him whole…. Rabbit Do you think your mom gets too mad at random times? Well, you should be thankful that your mom isn’t a rabbit… because right after Rabbits give birth, they get frequent overwhelming needs to clean up their entire house. Things get messy with a few babies running around so it does make sense but sometimes, this gets out of hand, and while cleaning up the mess, they get rid of the source too…. Yup, they’ll just… eat their own babies thinking of them as a mess too… and this isn’t super rare… it happens all the time!
